Today’s ‘Tickets @ 2′ song is “Take My Breath Away” by Terri Nunn & Berlin. Featured in the movie Top Gun, helping the soundtrack become one of the best selling ever. It was the love theme from the movie, starring Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis.
Before joining up with Berlin, Terri Nunn appeared in several films in the late 70s. She auditioned for the role of Princess Leia in Star Wars.
The song won an Oscar for Best Original Song.
